It has been rumored for several days now, it was in doubt, but now it is official. Todd Bowles has officially tapped his offensive coordinator, and it is Chan Gailey. Gailey officially signed a contract with the Jets tonight, terms of the deal not disclosed.
Take a look at a snapshot of his career, courtesy of the Jets website:
Gailey, who was the head coach for both the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys, has previously served as an offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos (1989-’90), the Pittsburgh Steelers (1997), the Miami Dolphins (2000-’01) and the Kansas City Chiefs (2008).

I am still not a big fan of the Gailey hiring, which I will go into more in the near future. He does have some positives, but I feel the negatives outweigh the positives, but we shall see.
