We have more news coming out tonight regarding the New York Jets. It looks like they have found their next head coach. Take a look at the first Tweet to drop the news, courtesy of Adam Schefter:
Jets are hiring Todd Bowles as their HC, per source.

According to Jets beat reporter Brian Costello, the team is working on a deal with Todd Bowles, but no contract deal is done yet.
Per reports earlier tonight, the Jets cancelled an interview with Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, previously scheduled for tomorrow. It seems as if the Jets are closing in on their guy, and it is not Dan Quinn as had previously been thought.

You can’t blame the Jets for moving. Dan Quinn cannot commit to a team until after the Seahawks are eliminated from the playoffs, which could be after February 1. What if the Jets had put all of their eggs in the basket of Dan Quinn, and he went elsewhere?
It’s not official yet, more to come soon. Will give my thoughts on Bowles after it becomes official.
