Jon Gruden spends his time these days commenting on Monday Night Football. He makes analogies and calls plays such as “Spider 2 Y Banana”. But, Gruden also has his opinions regarding the National Football League. He believes that the Jets made a mistake letting go of Rex Ryan. Gruden discussed this topic with the national media earlier this week:
“I’m sure there are some celebrations in Buffalo, New England and Miami,” Gruden said. “The Jets chose to move on, and I wish them the best in their endeavors, but I think they lost one heck of a football coach.”
Gruden also believes that Rex won’t be in the market for long:
“I’m really disappointed for him,” Gruden said. “I understand winning and losing are certainly the defining number for some people, but I expect Rex Ryan to get picked up quickly.”

We can understand the way Jon Gruden feels. He will always be a coach at heart, and he went through Black Monday himself when he was let go by the Bucs several years ago. He’s not entirely wrong, there were certainly arguments to keeping Rex Ryan. We all know I have made them right on here.
But a clean slate is certainly understandable as well.
