Week 12 is here and the AFC East matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets has found a new home for the game… Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. So that means, we’re going to a dome.

That means, perfect pristine playing conditions despite the bad weather outside. When looking at everyone on the field, Michael Vick has spent the most time playing in a dome so could he be the “X-Factor” of Monday’s game?

I do think he’ll be an “X-Factor” but I do think there’ll be more than one and that name is Percy Harvin.

Let’s start with the quarterback, here are Vick’s career stats in a dome.

Michael Vick is as well-known for his ability to scramble as he is for his passing ability. Besides anything else, Vick is the all-time leader in rushing yards by a quarterback. The dome, with its dry and fast track, helps out the running game. Vick’s dome rushing stats are 365 attempts for 2833 yards and 20 touchdowns, a 7.7 yards per carry average.

The dome conditions help the speed guys more than anyone else which then brings me to Harvin: Career stats

The name of the game in football is speed and Harvin is firing, that speed will beat most corners every time. In 32 games (or four years in Minnesota), he posted 167 catches for 1928 yards and 12 touchdowns. But his biggest contribution during those games was his kick returns, posting 55 returns for 1554 yards and scoring three touchdowns.

This is what you got Harvin for. To get a speed weapon and let him stretch the field.

While all of the members of both squads have played someone in a dome before, these two have the most experience playing in a dome. Harvin and Vick are two of the most dynamic players in the game for the Jets. Take advantage of your weapons and let their speed do the work.
