The 2015 NFL International Series schedule has been announced, and our Jets are on it, set to make some history.

Per multiple reports, and confirmed by the NFL, the Jets will be heading to London on October 4th to play the Dolphins, in what will be the first time the series has played host to a divisional game. The Dolphins are set as the home team, so that will take away the Florida matchup between these two teams.

The last time the Jets played outside of the states is 2003, when the Jets faced the Tampa Bay Bucs in a preseason game.

No real reaction to this. Roger Goodell is going to persist with this International Series, so I guess it was time for the Jets to take part in it. It’s interesting that they would take a divisional rivalry, especially a long standing one like the Jets vs. the Dolphins, out of one of the home team’s stadiums. Enough tickets are sold that it should balance the scales, at least a little bit.
