Week 9 is upon us and the New York Jets fly out to Kansas City to face the Chiefs out at Arrowhead Stadium.

So if you are going out to Kansas City, here’s the weather you and the Jets are facing at 1 p.m.:

“Partly sunny, with a high near 57.”

So… the weather won’t be a factor but the crowd noise could be. Kansas City has been playing well this year and that city is jacked from the success of the Royals.

For the Jets to win this game… here are my keys to victory:

1. Where’s the defense?: I know the front seven has been getting to quarterback and the run defense has been “stingy” — and yes the team has had some issues; but the glaring piece missing is the lack of turnovers. Can we get a turnover from this defense? Can the corners please cover someone?!?!?!

2. “Bring on the filthy”: There’s a long story behind that quote from AMC Movie News’s John Campea but the point of it coming to Jets Nation is because of the offensive line. I mean can these guys get nasty and make some holes for the running backs to go blow through. As well as block and give Michael Vick time to throw.

3. Where’s the help?: In the same vane with Vick, the wide receivers and tight ends need to keep a part of their vision on the quarterback. If he’s in trouble… come back to the quarterback and help him out.

4. “Let’s do the time warp”… Vick needs to find the form of his past.

It’s simple… the Jets need a win in the worst way. And it’s time that this team shocks us.
