The biggest surprise is that Nelson is active. Nelson, you remember, was injured last week against the Lions and didn’t finish the game. He also didn’t practice until Friday, which wasn’t in full, so the Jets’ dressing him today is a bit of a surprise. No surprise that Eric Decker is out as well. He probably should have already sat until his hamstring got back to full strength. Here is the list of Chargers’ inactives, also retweeted by Cimini:
Chargers’ inactives: Ryan Mathews, Manti Te’o, Jeremiah Attaochu, Reggie Walker, Rich Ohrnberger, Shareece Wright, Dontrelle Inman.

Mathews being on the sidelines could work either way. The Chargers haven’t been able to run well, but that will make them focus even more on the passing game, which we have had some difficulty stopping.
