Time for a “Throwback Thursday”. For this one, we don’t have to throw it back very far. We throw it back to the year 2010.
Ford Field was the location. It was November 7th, and the Jets entered this one with a 5-2 record. The Lions, on the other hand, came in with the opposite record, 2-5. This was the year of the comebacks, led by yes, Mark Sanchez at quarterback. This was one of those days.

Late in the first half, the Jets went ahead by a 10-7 score when Mark Sanchez hooked up with his good friend Braylon Edwards on a 74 yard touchdown pass. The Lions came back with ten unanswered points to take a 20-10 lead well into the fourth quarter.
Our Jets stormed back, with ten points in the final three minutes to push the game into overtime. Nick Folk won the game from 30 yards out, two minutes into overtime.
