The Jets lost to the Bears last night by a score of 27-19. It’s the morning after, so it is time to hand our “wings” to top performers from last night:

JEREMY KERLEY: Jeremy Kerley was solid as a rock last night for Geno Smith and the Jets’ offense, posting seven catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Apart from Eric Decker, Jeremy is the Jets’ most consistent wide receiver, by a wide margin.

DEMARIO DAVIS: Aside from a dropped interception, Demario Davis had another strong game for the Jets last night. 12 tackles, five solo, to go along with 1/2 sack is another excellent performance from the third year linebacker.

MUHAMMAD WILKERSON: With five tackles, three solo, and 1.5 sacks. Big Mo was a beast. The best defender on the Jets made his presence felt once again. Thank goodness that his injury late in the game looks to not be serious, as that would have been a big blow to the New York Jets.

NICK FOLK: Nick Folk is “money”. When the Jets offense stalled in the red zone, which it did several times, Nick Folk kept the game close. 4-4 in field goals is just another perfect night for Nick Folk. The “Folk hero” is a guy that the Jets can’t currently deal without.
