Throwback Thursday: New York Jets vs. New England Patriots 1998

Vinny Testaverde threw for four touchdown passes in the week 17 win over New England.

Thursday night, so it’s time to get back to another edition of Throwback Thursday.

This week, in keeping with the NFL Network’s 90’s week, we go back to the 1990’s for our throwback moment. Specifically, we go back to week 17 of the 1998 season.

On this week, our Jets hosted our friends from New England. The Jets were closing out their first division title since 1960’s, and looking to finish with a 12-4 record.

Not only did the Jets win, they dominated the game to head off into the playoffs. Take a look:

It may have been before the rivalry really heated up, but it is still fun to beat up on that team, isn’t it?
