New York Jets schedule released for 2014 season

Well Ladies and Gentlemen the NFL schedule for the upcoming season has been released. So who, when and where do the Jets play next season, lets take a look

Week 4 – vs Detroit Lions

Week 5 – @ San Diego Chargers

Week 6 – vs Denver Broncos

Week 7 – @ New England Patriots (Thursday Night)

Week 8 – vs Buffalo Bills

Week 9 – @ Kansas City Chiefs

Week 10 – vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 11 – Bye

Week 12 – @ Buffalo Bills

Week 13 – vs Miami Dolphins (Monday Night)

Week 14 – @ Minnesota Vikings

Week 15 – @ Tennessee Titans

Week 16 – vs New England Patriots

The Jets start off with a favorable home opener matchup in week 1 and then begin a brutal stretch that will test their defense until the week 8 matchup with the Bills. The Jets then face two hard nosed football teams back to back in the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers followed by a well timed BYE week. The schedule after the Bye is actually quite favorable starting off with the Bills, the Dolphins twice and the Vikings and the Titans. The back part of the schedule is well placed for the Jets to get hot and make a playoff run.
