Well, we don’t know if the Jets are considering drafting a quarterback or not, but if they are, there is one that would be willing to be called upon.

That quarterback is Tajh Boyd from Clemson. He has already talked with the team this week, doing so for approximately an hour on Tuesday night. Here is what Tajh had to say:

“I would love playing for Rex,” Boyd said, “That’s one of my favorite coaches. He’s very charismatic, a little sarcastic sometimes, but I love it.” “We’ve got a good relationship. “I’ve been a fan of him. He’s been a fan of me for the past few years. Who knows what could happen in that situation? You’ve got to keep on pressing and grinding.”

They have a good relationship, but Mr. Boyd cheated a little. He already knows Rex pretty well. Rex’s oldest, Seth, is a walk-on receiver with the Clemson Tigers, so they have gotten to know each other on a personal level.

Will that be enough to get the Jets to draft him? Hard to say. Personally, I don’t think drafting a quarterback is the way to go, especially early. Get Geno some weapons to work with, and let’s see where he is.

But if the Post is right, drafting a QB is still a possibility. We will soon find out.
