Let’s take a look back to Sunday, and see what the grades look like, courtesy of our friends at Pro Football Focus. First on the offense:
Jeremy Kerley: -0.3
Zach Sudfeld: 0.4
D’Brickashaw Ferguson: 0.7
Brian Winters: -3.5
Nick Mangold: -0.1
Willie Colon: 0.0
Austin Howard: -0.8
Stephen Hill: -0.3
Geno Smith: -4.1
Tommy Bohanon: -0.2
Chris Ivory: 1.1
David Nelson: 0.3
Greg Salas: 0.7
Josh Cribbs: 0.2
The grade on Geno Smith is a little bit harsh. No, he didn’t do very much, but a great that low implies that something was done that incorrect. He didn’t do that. He shouldn’t have this report from yesterday held against him. No real surprises anywhere else. Greg Salas was a 0.7 was a nice debut. Brian Winters (-3.5) needs to step it up soon, or we might get forced into see Vlad again, and that would be bad.
Now for the defense:
Sheldon Richardson: 1.4
Damon Harrison: 0.1
Mo Wilkerson: -0.3
Calvin Pace: 0.9
David Harris: 0.3
Demario Davis: -2.0
Quinton Coples: 0.8
Antonio Cromartie: 0.2
Antonio Allen: -1.0
Dawan Landry: 3.1
Dee Milliner: 1.0
It was great to see Quinton Coples come through with an excellent game. The defensive line had a terrific game once again, credited with one sack, two quarterback hits, and five hurries. Despite the interception, Demario Davis graded out with a -2.0 but that will get better.
