Is anyone really shocked about this turn of events? Not I.

The news has been posted that officially, Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play in the game Sunday against the New York Jets. Gronkowski will be making his first appearance of the season after missing the first six weeks due to injury.

We will have a more detailed preview of the game tomorrow, but this could loom large on the result. We have seen the “Gronk” tear the Jets up before. The Jets are going to have to mug him at the line of scrimmage, as they did to Tony Gonazalez two weeks ago. Do not let him get a clean release from the line of scrimmage, ever.

It may result in a penalty or two, as we know how the refs protect the New England Patriots, but this is the only way to slow a health Gronkowski down. The linebackers must step up and get it done.
