Cromartie MRI shows hyperextended knee, not serious, per source. Status for Sunday uncertain. #nyj

Well, the good news is that it is not serious, and won’t end his season. I think we all know how devastating that would have been.
However, his status for Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers is uncertain, as Rich mentioned. A source close to the team has informed the Jet Press that Antonio is actually out for Sunday afternoon already, but that report is unconfirmed.
We will report back when, and if, that is confirmed. In the meantime, we will stick with the “uncertain” status. The Jets already thin at the cornerback position, with Dee Milliner hurt, and Kyle Wilson still employed. Look for Big Ben and company to try to take advantage of some shots down the field.
Darrin Walls and company will have to have a big game to help the Jets to a two game winning streak.
