With Santonio Holmes looking like he is going to miss time due to his hamstring, possibly the same for Chris Ivory, and Stephen Hill’s status up in the air, we hit a familiar refrain with the New York Jets. The familiar tune of, “Where have all the weapons gone?” What are the Jets going to do for an offensive threat?
In comes Mike Goodson, back from his four-week suspension. He is excited to get back, and believes he can contribute quickly:
Words can’t even express how excited I am. Just being able to be back out there. We just had a walk thru, to be back out there with my teammates and even just watching them go through a walk thru. Being able to be out there is cool.
What can he bring to the table?
Just a spark. Hopefully a spark. Wherever they choose to place me, wherever they choose to put me at, just bring a spark.
He has spent the last four weeks learning the playbook, and beating it into his memory. Hopefully it helped, and he can provide a “spark”, starting Monday night in Atlanta.
