Is Mark Sanchez giving up on rehab, and opting for surgery to end his season? Well, it depends on who you talk to.
The below is a tweet from Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network.
Source: #Jets QB Mark Sanchez has decided he plans to have surgery on his torn labrum after attempting to rehab. 4-6 month rehab process

This wouldn’t be a shock, should it turn out to be true. He’s not throwing, and at times he looks quite uncomfortable with his right side. He has gone on to tweet that he is going to wait 1-2 more weeks to give rehab one more try, but believes surgery is inevitable. That more coincides with the following tweet from Jets’ beat reporter Brian Costello:
Mark Sanchez is in Fla. seeing Dr. Andrews again, but has not decided to have surgery yet. Still going to rehab shoulder, per source. #NYJ

It sounds like surgery is coming, unless a minor miracle occurs in rehab. We all know that most of this is moot, because he is not likely to be here in 2014 anyway. Let’s hope he gets fixed so he can have a productive career.
