There may be a very good reason that Mark Sanchez is in the picture to the right, throwing with his left hand.

Chris Mortensen had it first, just a little while ago. Take a look:

You saw Mark Sanchez throwing lefty. That's because docs believe he has partially torn labrum. 2nd opinion this week from Dr Andrews.

Jay Glazer is reporting that Mark already HAD a torn labrum, and suffered a dislocated shoulder during the play against the Giants. They both confirmed that Sanchez is going to see Dr. Andrews this week for a second opinion.

Then, the Jets’ reporters began to come through with confirmation, but not to the level of Mort and Glazer. Brian Costello had this:

Source confirms Sanchez is going to see Dr. Andrews this week but they do not believe it is a torn labrum at this point #nyj

Whatever the reason he is heading to see Andrews, this could mean the end for Mark Sanchez as a Jets’ quarterback. Yes, you can come back from a tear, Chad Pennington played with one in 2004. I just get the hunch that he will be put on season ending IR, sooner rather than later.
