Good morning JET Pressers. It’s time for a “Throwback Thursday”. We look take the time on a Thursday to look back at in interesting game in Jets’ history, just because it’s fun to look back sometimes. Today, we get back to it, but we aren’t going back too far to locate the footage.
Remember within the last few weeks or so, I wrote a post that briefly talked about why we remain Jets fans. I talked about how it will feel when we finally win a title, how rooting for Jets builds character…..all that kind of stuff.
The other reason we stay is that, because we are so used to poor play, we use any exciting play at all to build our Super Bowl dreams. And the year the Jets’ did this to us, leading up to the draft, was this past season, week 1.
Remember the offensive onslaught the Jets dropped on the Bills week one? Mark Sanchez and company dropped 48 points on the Bills. Am I the only one that diluted enough to believe that the Jets would have an offense going forward.
Although the defense took some plays off to keep the game close, the Jets offense won this one in convincing style, 48-28. Take a look at the video of this ultimate tease:
Ah what might have been.
