One more day. Just four hours from now, John Idzik, Rex Ryan, and company take back to the war room to finish up the 2013 NFL daft, with rounds 4-7 to come this afternoon. So far, we have address the QB spot, the CB spot, offensive line, and running back (via trade). So, what are they going to do today? My predictions have not been great so far as you all know, but I am going to keep going with them anyway.

I don’t see the day ending without the Jets adding a weapon on the outside.  No matter who the quarterback is, Sanchez, Smith, Tebow, or anybody else, they all have the same problem.  They have a lack of guys to throw to on the outside.  One name to look for is Quinton Patton from Louisiana Tech.  Other top names available include Da’rick Rogers and Josh Boyce.

The Jets may add an edge defender as well today.  Top names include Khaseem Greene, Alex Okafor and William Gholston, although they likely will not want to take a guy with THAT last name again.

The Jets do have a need at safety, with the two defections from the position as free agents.  Shamarko Thomas is a guy still on the board that experts are high on, that may go to the Jets here.

My positional hunch is that the Jets will go edge rusher, and outside WR weapons, and safety may go to the back burner a bit.

We will see what happens, soon enough.
