Could this be a case of out with one Landry, in with another?

Reports surfaced earlier today that Jacksonville Jaguars’ safety, Dawan Landry, paid the Jets a free agent visit today. Dawan happens to be the brother of recently departed Jets safety LaRon Landry.

The Jets do have a dire need for a veteran safety, after losing LaRon Landry to the Indianapolis Colts, and Yeremiah Bell to the Arizona Cardinals. LaRon’s brother Dawan could just be the guy to fill the void. Take a look at Dawan’s stats to date:

You can see by looking right there, that Dawan is all the same consistent tackler that his brother is, but hasn’t had the same injury problems of his brother.

He is only 30 years old, still playing like he has a lot of gas still in the tank. The Jets could do a lot worse than Dawan Landry.
