Well, pending a physical, it looks like Percy Harvin has gotten his wish to get out of Minnesota.

If you haven’t heard yet, in news first broken today by NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer, The Vikings and Seahawks have agreed on a trade to send Harvin to the Seahawks in return for the Seahawks’ first round pick in 2013, their seventh round in 2013, and a mid-level pick in 2014. The deal is contingent upon Percy Harvin passing a physical.

Big bold move by the Seattle Seahawks today, that’s for sure. Can you imagine Beastmode(Marshawn Lynch), Russell Wilson, and now Percy Harvin added to that bunch? This is going to be a tough offense to stop in 2013, assuming that Percy passes his physical.

However, it’s time to be a little bit selfish now. I want to talk about how this trade affects the New York Jets. And it does have an affect on them.

You look at the Seahawks, with all of that firepower, and then look at the 49ers, with Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree…etc. Even the Cardinals will always be dangerous when Larry Fitzgerald is on the outside. Then, if you take into account Roddy White and the Falcons, you see that the NFC has a lot of weapons.

Wouldn’t this move increase the need for a shutdown corner to be on one of these rosters? It would certainly give a team a leg up wouldn’t it?………..

I don’t have any insider notes here, I”m just saying…..anything could happen.
