We are back for another “Throwback Thursday” edition tonight.

I was looking for some highlights that would be worthy of tonight’s post, and I found a tribute video to a fan favorite.

Laveranues Coles actually had three stints as a New York Jet, although he didn’t play one game during his final time here. Of 10 full seasons in his career, 7 of them were spent in New York, and much of his time was spent as a favorite target of Chad Pennington.

In his time with New York, he posted 459 catches, 5,941 receiving yards, and 37 TDs. His career high in receptions came in 2006 with 91, for 1,098 yards and 6 TDs. The year Chad Pennington came on the scene, 2002, was Coles’ high mark in receiving yards, posting 1,264 on 89 catches and 5 TDs.

Needless to say, but I say it anyway, he was a prolific wide receiver in Green.

So tonight, we bring you a tribute video to Laveranues Coles, so we can remember how good this guy really was.

We hope you enjoyed this week’s “Throwback Thursday”, and stay tuned next week. You will never know what we might be able to find……..
