Could the 49ers be preparing to make a run for Darrelle Revis?

As most of you know by now, Alex Smith is going to the Chiefs.  The trade is set, the league year just needs to begin for the trade to be announced as official.

With the trade, the 49ers have stockpiled upwards of 15 draft picks,  causing many football people to speculate that San Francisco might have moved to the front of the Darrelle Revis trade race.

With that, I posted a question on Twitter earlier today, asking what compensation that fans would accept in return for Revis going to the 49ers.  Here are some of your Tweets:

@thejetpress 31, 61, Ahmad Brooks, and a 2014 conditional pick. Go #Jets

@thejetpress #33 & #61 this year, #1 next. Gives you flexibility to make a move on a qb you like in 14′ (Bridgewater, Manziel)

It seems like the fans would be OK with the Jets dealing Darrelle to San Francisco, but it’s going to cost them a pretty penny.
