The Hall of Fame just brought the list of finalists for the 2013 Class from 15 down to 10. Here they are:

  • Larry Allen
  • Jerome Bettis
  • Cris Carter
  • Charles Haley
  • Jonathan Ogden
  • Bill Parcells
  • Andre Reed
  • Warren Sapp
  • Michael Strahan
  • Aeneas Williams

Andre Reed still has a chance to make it this year, although it continues to be a disappointment for Tim Brown.  Another guy that didn’t make the cut was Eddie DeBartolo, Jr.  He, as we have mentioned, was the only owner to win 5 Super Bowls.

We will have the final list as it comes out, but Bill Parcells should definitely make it.  The “Bus” deserves to make it this year, as well as Charles Haley.

Personally I don’t think of Warren Sapp as a Hall of Famer, I hold that more for a player like Michael Strahan.  Aeneas Williams is another questionable one to me, but clearly the voters have disagreed so far.

When the final selections are made we will bring them to you.
