The Jets are back to work working on their defense today.

A league source has said that Yeremiah Bell and Chris Johnson are coming in for free agent visits with the Jets today.

Yeremiah Bell played for the Dolphins for the previous 8 seasons, and has been a starter at the safety position since 2008, and hasn’t has a season with less than 80 tackles since he became the starter, with 5 INTs over the last 3 seasons as well.

Chris Johnson, no not the running back, is a cornerback that spent the last 5 seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He also can make a play on the football with 8 INTs and 39 passes defended over the years 2008-2010.

Both would make good additions to the defensive backfield.
