Tonight we take a look at another player the Jets have taken a great deal of interest in. He is from the deep wide receiver class, and had a wonderful combine. Spotlight on Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech.

For a full scouting report, take a look at our friends at

He’s a big guy, coming in at 6’4″ 215 pounds.  He ran a 4.36 in the 40 yard dash at his combine workout.

He comes from the same program that produced Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas.

He showed to be a big deep threat in 2011, with 28 receptions for 820 yards, a whopping 29.3 yard per catch average.

Pros: He has great size at 6’4″, and is known for great hands.  He can run past corners with ease and is great at the point of the catch.

Cons: He doesn’t have a great deal of routes in his repertoire, he mainly is a go route guy.  He still has some difficulty reading coverages when not running a deep route.

Take a look at the video and you be the judge.

He looks like a wideout to me with his build. If he’s coachable, he could be a big asset at the next level, and a good value to the Jets.
