BREAKING: No Change to Saints Penalties

The decision has been made on the appeals regarding “bountygate”.

The decision is, the suspensions have been upheld. Sean Payton’s suspension will be a full year, Mickey Loomis for 8 games, and Joe Vitt for 6. All are without pay, Sean Payton’s suspension to start Monday, the others at the end of the preseason.

Sean Payton will be allowed no contact with players or coaches, directly or indirectly. The commissioner will address reinstatements at the end of the term.

No surprises here, these were all deserved.
