Giants defeat Jets on record setting 99 yard TD pass (VIDEO)
By Marc A. Greenberg

How many times have you heard this Giants fans: “99 yard touchdown pass.”
Answer: Never.
Eli Manning’s 99 yard TD pass to Victor Cruz during Saturday’s 29-14 Giants victory over the New York Jets was the longest pass play in Giants history. The previous record was a 98-yard pass from Earl Morrall to Homer Jones in 1966.
With 164 receiving yards on Saturday, Cruz now has 1,358 yards, a new Giants single-season record. Amani Toomer previously held the mark, with 1,342 receiving yards in 2002.
