REPORT: Dolphins Tony Sparano to be fired
By Marc A. Greenberg

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Miami Dolphins plan to fire head coach Tony Sparano once the season comes to an end.
While there had been rumors that the recent success of the Dolphins may have been enough to keep Sparano around for another season, the team suffered a meltdown today in Philadelphia, losing 26-10, sealing the deal.
According to Salguero’s report, “barring some unforeseen circumstance,” general manager Jeff Ireland will return for the 2012 season.
