UPDATE: Bears Forte out for game with knee injury

Caught up in a contract battle, Chicago Bears Matt Forte has left Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a right knee injury and will not return.

Carrying the ball in the first quarter, Forte was hit by Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnon in the right knee. He immediately went to the sideline to bbe checked on by the Bears’ medical staff.
