Jets Aaron Maybin records 2 sacks against former team

Not to be lost in the New York Jets 28-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday was the performance of linebacker Aaron Maybin who, in addition to recording two sacks against his former team, provided overall Mayhem to the Buffalo offense with his constant pressure.

On Sunday, he was a Jets team captain.  That’s a long way from the Bust label that previously came with the 2009 11th pick in the draft.

“It feels good to be able to go out there and have a good game in a situation like that,” Maybin said after the game.

Maybin leads the Jets with 5 sacks.
