Former Jets Brad Smith has big game for Bills

It has been a tough year for Buffalo Bills WR Brad Smith. The former New York Jets wildcat/QB/kick returner came from the Jets with big expectations, but has been relatively quiet all season.
Facing his former team yesterday, Smith had a coming out party with4 catches for 77 yards, including a beautiful 36 yard TD catch in which Smith and Antonio Cromartie both jumped for the ball, with Smith tipping it to himself and running 10 yards in for the score.
“I thought I got a piece of it and tried to knock it down,” said Smith. “And Cro, I don’t know if he went the other way but our hands kind of met. But it got tipped up and I saw it floating.”
And despite playing for a division rival, Smith was well received by the fans.
“It was unreal,” Smith said of the support. “I was surprised that the fans were so supportive. They were saying some nice things. I always got love for the people here, New York and the Jets fans so hats off to them and hats off to their team for getting a win.”
