As we reported yesterday, New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson will not be active for Thursday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

In addition, however, wide receiver Jeremy Kerley will not play as well.

Both players are dealing with knee injuries.

Aside from emerging as quarterback Mark Sanchez’s favorite target, Kerley returns punts for the Jets.  Last week, Joe McKnight was inserted for a punt return and promptly fumbled the ball, leading to a New England Patriots field goal.
