Jets Tomlinson out with MCL Sprain

The New York Daily News is reporting that New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson suffered an MCL sprain to his left knee during the 37-16 loss to the New England Patriots Sunday night.  There was no serious structural damage.

Injured with under two minutes to play, don’t expect Tomlinson to risk further injury and be active for the Jets next game, this Thursday night in Denver.  With just a few days to rest the knee and let it heal, Tomlinson and the Jets should know better.
