NFL investigating incident with Jets Rex Ryan

Big Mouth Strikes Again.
Per Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, the NFL confirmed that it is investigating New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan for cursing at a fan during the team’s 37-16 loss Sunday to the New England Patriots.
What was initially believed to have occurred at the end of the game, Ryan himself acknowledged Monday that it happened at halftime.
“Quite honestly, my emotions got the best of me,” Ryan told “The Michael Kay Show” on 1050 ESPN.
Allegedly, a fan yells: “Hey, Rex, Belichick is better than you,” as Ryan walked off the field into the locker room, to which Ryan responded, “Shut the f— up”.
A league spokesman confirmed that “we’ll take a look at it but don’t want to speculate on any outcome.”
These incidents are nothing new to Ryan. In January 2009, Ryan was fined $50,000 by the Jets for making an obscene gesture toward a fan at a mixed martial arts event in Florida.
