Jets Plaxico Burress not at Thursday practice

There is growing concern out of the New York Jets camp that wide receiver Plaxico Burress will not be playing Sunday against the New England Patriots.  Held out out of practice on Wednesday, Burress has not been seen on the field Thursday.

Burress has a stiff lower back and was questionable last week before catching a team-high five passes for 79 yards in New York’s 27-11 win against the Buffalo Bills.
