Jets Slauson says team will beat Bills

Maybe taking a cue from his coach, New York Jets guard Matt Slauson decided it was his turn to make some guarantees.

In reference to this Sunday’s Jets game in Buffalo, Slauson was all positive.

“I mean, the Patriots lost (to the Steelers) and the Bills are about to lose,” said Slauson. “Then, we’ve got the Patriots. As long as we can take care of our stuff, we’re going to be in the driver’s seat.”

Obviously disregarding two cardinal sins in football: 1. Thou shall not guarantee games; and 2. Thou shall not look ahead in the schedule, Slauson feels pretty good about Sunday.  Let’s hope the rest of the team does too.
