Jets LaDainian Tomlinson hit with Flu-like symptoms

You probably noticed New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson was not playing as much as usual Sunday against his former team the San Diego Chargers.

Tomlinson woke up Sunday morning with flu-like symptoms and was sick throughout the day.  Taking IV treatment before the game, LT needed to play against his former team.

“Really and truly I knew I was still going to play,” Tomlinson said. “I was able to push through and make some plays.”

“Officially, I can really close that chapter, and really move on. Just because I was able to face them, play against them, and to win certainly helps. It feels good.”
