Tomlinson to start for Jets

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has announced that LaDainian Tomlinson will make a “ceremonial” start against the San Diego Chargers this Sunday.

Tomlinson, a longtime Charger, has been the Jets second back this season behind Shonn Greene.

“I don’t have any bad bones against anybody. I’m sure the time will come when I come back and retire as a Charger,” Tomlinson said in a conference call to San Diego reporters.
