Bill Parcells on Sanchez “Before you can drive a Ford, you have to be able to drive a Cadillac”

Another former member of the Jets family has weighed in on the Jets struggles.
Bill Parcells, former coach and Jets executive, is a bit surprised by the struggles of the Jets so far. During an appearance on the “Mike Lupica Show” on ESPN radio, he talked about how he feels it would be asking to much for Mark Sanchez to right the ship all by himself.
“He’s a developing player, just like all young quarterbacks, and there’s going to be some good and some not-so-good,” he said. He went on to talk about how he has had big game experience in his short career, which will serve him well.
The Tuna added, “Before you can drive a Ford, you have to be able to drive a Cadillac. So if they get everything good around him, I think it will go well. Right now, I don’t think he can take the team completely on his shoulders.”
Seems like he may be right
