Jets WRs complain to Rex Ryan about Schottenheimer

From the Department of Bad to Worse:
The NY Daily News is reporting that New York Jets WRs Santonio Holmes, Plaxico Burress and Derrick Mason have all individually met with head coach Rex Ryan to complain about Offensive Coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.
The Jets are 25th in total offense, and despite throwing 62% of the time so far this season, all three WRs are not happy.
Holmes and Mason average three catches per game while Burress averages 2.5. Combined, they have 35 receptions for 432 yards.
“We just grind for everything,” a source told The News. “Nothing’s ever easy.”
For his part, Schotty has taken the blame for the slow start.
“We were really just kind of struggling, calling bad plays and not executing as clean as we need to do,” Schottenheimer said. “I take responsibility for that.”
Today’s game against the Patriots could go a long way to seeing how this season, and Schotty’s future with the Jets, turn out.
