Santonio Holmes remains quiet with noise all around him

After publicly calling out your offensive line, your quarterback and your team, there are three things an NFL player can do:  He can apologize for his comments, saying that, any comments made were done so out of frustration; he can stick to his guns, and continue the disruption; or he can remain quiet.

So far New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes has chosen to take Option 3.  Well, a version of three anyway. On his Twitter page, Monday, Holmes posted the following:

Win as a TEAM, Lose as a TEAM! Point no FINGERS!

.

.

Interesting post considering just the day before (and week before), Holmes called out his team.

“Captain” Holmes (he was made a Jets captain before the start of the season) has certainly ruffled some feathers this season.  Obviously upset about his lack of production, Holmes has, for two weeks now, made us all question why he’s a team Captain.  With the Jets in the toughest part of their schedule, Holmes should’ve known better.

This week in Foxboro should be interesting.
