Jets Plaxico Burress misses practice – Injury Report

New York Jets WR Plaxico Burress sat out practice today with an elbow injury.
According to the NJ Star Ledger, Burress said he noticed inflammation last night in his elbow. Calling the ballooning elbow “freakish”, he isn’t sure what caused it.
“One of those things where I was talking to the trainers last night, had a little stiffness, had a little inflammation. They just shut me down today but I expect to be out there tomorrow.
“I’ll be out there tomorrow. Nothing serious.”
Jets head coach Rex Ryan said that Burress had the elbow drained and that he looked “fine” doing light work with the trainers.
