When the Miami Dolphins come to town on October 17 to face the New York Jets, they may have a new quarterback.

Jeff Darlington of NFL.com is reporting that the Dolphins believe Chad Henne separated his non-throwing shoulder in last week’s loss.  The injury could sideline Henne for the season.

“While the team is not yet ruling anything out, the feelings coming from the organization about the situation are most definitely tense,” Darlington writes.

Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Fins have already reached out to David Garrard and Jake Delhomme but nothing has been agreed to yet.  Apparently both QBs want guaranteed contracts.
