Patriots and Welker roll over Raiders
By Marc A. Greenberg

The New England Patriots make it look too easy.
Despite the New York Jets troubles against the Oakland Raiders, the Patriots rolled over the Raiders today 31-19 with the help of WR Wes Welker who contributed another 9 catches for 158 yards.
Through four games this season, Welker has gone over 150 receiving yards three times and has 40 catches and 616 yards and is on pace to destroy the NFL record for both catches and yards.
The NFL record for catches is held by Marvin Harrison with 143 catches while the yardage record belongs to Jerry Rice with 1,848.
