Breaking News:Jets ReSign LB Aaron Maybin to Active Roster

The JetPress has learned, via Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News, that the Jets have resigned LB Aaron Maybin.

The Jets released him this preseason after a fairly impressive showing.  He displayed his edge pass rushing ability, recording 1 1/2 sacks against the Eagles in the final preseason game.  At the time, the Jets felt he was a luxury and released him, at which point he worked out for the Titans but wasn’t signed.

Now the Jets feel they can take his skills and make him into a full time player.
