49ers Braylon Edwards has surgery on his knee

The New York Jets sure are happy they signed Plaxico Burress.
Former Jet and current San Francisco 49ers WR Braylon Edwards reportedly had a surgical procedure on his knee following the 49ers loss to the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Jim Harbaugh said today.
Edwards will miss this week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals and will then be re-evaluated. According to Harbaugh, he will be “out for a little bit.”
Edwards had one catch on Sunday before leaving the game. On the season he has four catches for 48 yards.
Failing to receive a No. 1 WR contract this offseason, Edwards signed a one year, $1 million deal with the niners that could reach $2.5 million in incentives.
