Jets Resign Kevin O’Connell, Updated Roster

As Marc Greenberg reported earlier today, the Jets decided to put Greg McElroy on season ending injured reserve, so that opened a need for a third quarterback.  The Jets filled that void today by resigning Kevin O’Connell, who was with the team last year during camp.

Seven players were signed to the practice squad: TE Josh Baker, LB Matthias Berning, G Trevor Canfield, DT Jarron Gilbert, G Matt Kroul, CB Julian Posey and WR Patrick Turner.
