Rex Ryan needs to see more from Jets Maybin

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is not fully ready to give up on Aaron Maybin.  He’s close though…

The former Bills first round pick, brought in by the Jets, has been given a chance by the Jets and Ryan needs to see something from him. Fast.

“I think he can play in this league. We’ll see if he can play for us,” Ryan said.  “[He’s] going to have to do more” to make the team]”.

In other words, Maybin must really impress on Thursday when the Jets visit the Philadelphia Eagles in their final preseason game.

Similar to Vernon Gholston, the former 11th overall pick is in danger of being without a team soon.
